Property Description

The property is located in eastern Charleston County approximately five miles from McClellanville on Old Georgetown Road. It is owned by St. James Santee Parish Preservation Committee, managed by The Nature Conservancy. It encompasses 100 acres of heavily forested land dominated by longleaf pine uplands and bay forest-pocosin wetlands. A total of 43 acres of wetlands occur on the property. Open land is limited to interior roads totaling less than 1 acre.
