Park Description

The Town of Meggett’s Roxbury Park encompasses 157 acres located at 4480 Highway 174. The property has 3,800 feet of frontage along the Toogoodoo Creek and contains both a saltwater pond and a freshwater pond totaling 38 acres.

Park Activities

  • Walking, hiking and biking on nature trails
  • Canoeing & kayaking on the two ponds and the tidal creek
  • Fishing is permitted in either of the two ponds, on a catch & release basis only, or in the creek provided you have an appropriate state issued license
  • Private paid nature walks/tours are available
  • Wildlife and scenery photography
  • Picnic shelter near the parking area which can be reserved for special events
  • A cottage and surrounding grounds can be rented for overnight stays and/or for special events
